The 3rd International Conference on Advanced Technology and Sustainable Development (ICATSD 2026), hosted by the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH), will take place from 9 to 10 October 2026 at 12 Nguyen Van Bao, Hanh Thong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, featuring five focused symposia and a Scientific Council of scholars from ten countries.

Prof. Dr. Quoc Tuan Tran is one of the plenary speakers of the conference, delivering a keynote on advances in electrical engineering and sustainable energy systems.

Academic Journey and Key Achievements

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Grenoble Institute of Technology, France, 1993) and Dr. Habil. (2000).
Research focus: smart grids, renewable energy, electric vehicles, energy storage, medium and high-voltage direct current transmission, and artificial intelligence in energy systems.
More than 50 major research projects, 11 patents, 7 books, over 300 international publications, and 50 Ph.D. theses supervised.
IEEE Senior Member and CIGRE Member.
